PRESS RELEASES

Press Release July 24, 2006
ShoTime Motorsports went to Motor Mile Speedway this past weekend to compete in the Kroger 250. David Wilson made his third start of the season in the Tilton Engineering Ford Taurus. David had never been to Motor Mile Speedway, but he showed during practice that he can adapt to any kind of track quickly.

Wilson was running times within two-tenths of the leaders during practice and his times were very consistent all day. The team made slight changes during the practice sessions because David liked the feel of the car and felt very good in it. The team had high hopes for qualifying as they knew David had a very fast race car.

Qualifying did not turn out as well has Wilson had hoped for. He missed his marks during his qualifying attempt which resulted in the 30th fastest time. The team would have to take a provisional starting spot and start the race from the 32nd starting position. The team was disappointed in the time, but knew from practice that the car was fast and would be very good in the race. The race was 250 laps and knowing that he had a fast race car under him, David knew he would just need to be patient, stay out of trouble and he would be able to move to the front. When the race started, Wilson was able to pass cars on the outside and was following his plan of just taking his time. He would work on one car, pass them, and move onto his next competitor.

Everything was going great as David moved from 32nd starting position to the 22nd position. On lap 34, two cars got together in front of him and blocked the track out of turn four. David had nowhere to go and got involved in the accident. The wreck was terminal and would take David out of the race. He was credited with the 32nd finishing position. David Wilson may not have ran many laps during the race, but the team was very proud of what he accomplished all day. He gained a lot of experience which will only help him in our next race.

ShoTime Motorsports and David Wilson would like to thank all our sponsors crew members and fans for their support this season. David is making great strides in his rookie season and it will not be very long before he is running up front and challenging for wins. David Wilson entered into his first Hooters Procup race at the Mansfield Speedway on June 10th. Wilson was ready to prove he belongs there racing against some of the toughest short track drivers in the nation. He had a lot of highs and lows during the day, but the experience he gained will only help him become a better driver and he will be challenging for wins in the very near future.

Wilson has never been to the Mansfield Speedway, so the practice session was used to get him comfortable in the car and learn the line he would use during the race. The team was looking for consistent times from him during practice and he was able to do that and picked up speed each time he went out. At one point, he was shown as high as 13th in practice times. David looked very good all practice and the team was excited about getting the car ready to qualify.

Wilson was not able to get a good mock qualifying attempt during practice, so the team was not sure what would happen then. David was able to post the twenty-fifth fastest time out of thirty-six car starting field. Wilson's next goal of the day was to run 250 laps and complete his first Hooters Procup race.

Wilson looked very good during the first section of the race. He was just riding early in the race, passing cars when he was able, but not pushing to hard. On lap 63, Wilson was turned around in turns 1 and 2 and lost a lap trying to get the car started back up. When the race restarted, he was up front with the leaders trying to get his lap back and was running times similar to them as well. Wilson found some trouble again when two cars tangled going into turn 1 and he spun to avoid the accident. Wilson would be involved in a couple of other accidents during the race, but he never gave up. He used this as a chance to learn and gain the respect of his fellow competitors. David Wilson was able to complete his first race and bring home his Tilton Engineering sponsored Ford Tarus in the 19th position.

The next race for ShoTime Motorsports and David Wilson will be at the Lake Erie Speedway on June 30th. Shotime Motorsports would like to thank all our sponsors, crew members and fans for their support this year.

ShoTime Motorsports Sponsors Markowski Racing
Dated: March 7, 2006
Shotime Motorsports is a proud sponsor of Dale and Bailey Markowski in the Soap Box Derby Racing.  We have taken great interest in their development as drivers and have signed Dale Markowski to a driver development program in hopes that he will someday follow in David Wilson's footsteps as one of our Hooters Procup drivers.
Dale will be starting his third full season driving his Markowski Racing entry in the Cleveland Area Soap Box Derby stock division.  With the experience he has gained in the short time of racing, he has improved tremendously.  In June of 2005, Dale finished 8th in his local championship, which was a big improvement from the year before.  Dale's best finish last year was a fourth at Lancaster, Ohio where he also raced against the 2005 World Champion and was able to beat him.  One of the toughest races of the year was a race in October of 2005 in Cleveland where many competitors from all over come to compete.  Dale was able to bring home a sixth place finish out of the thirty-two cars that were there from his division.  Dale is ready for the 2006 season and to show everyone that he is ready to win races and compete for a championship this year.
Bailey Markowski is starting her first full season in the stock division of the Cleveland Area Soap Box Derby.  Bailey will be a teammate to her brother this year.  She raced in a few selected races in 2005 to prepare her for a full season in 2006.  Bailey showed in those select races that she will be a winning driver for years to come.
Their first races of year will be April 29 and 30 in Cleveland.  Markowski Racing has a full schedule planed and will be traveling to different tracks this year to help with there development as race car drivers.   Please check out our photo page at www.Shotimemotorsports.com to see their pictures, race results and to learn more about Shotimemotorports.

The Hooters Air Race Team Finish Fourth At Madison Speedway
 Dated: Monday, September 12 2005
The Hooters Air Race Team went to Madison Speedway for the final race of USAR Northern Division Regular Season. Mardy Lindley went into the race second in points, and a chance to take home the Northern Division Championship. The Hooters Air Race Team prepared a great car for the Miller Lite 250 presented by the Wisconsin Ford Dealers and they were going to give an all out effort like they have done all season.

While the Hooters Air Race Team made some changes to the car for practice and trying different set ups, Lindley posted the second fastest practice times of the day and the team then prepared the car for qualifying knowing they had a shot at their first pole of the season. When qualifying was over, they had gone 18.772 around the half mile oval, which was good for the fourth starting position. The top four cars were all within 2/100 of second of each other.

The race started and Lindley settled into the fourth position and stayed there for the first half of the race. Since the top four cars were so close in times, passing proved to be difficult during this race. A caution came out on lap 122, and it was time for the leaders to come to pit road for service. The Hooters Air Pit Crew was ready to top off the car with fuel, put on four tires and be set to go to the finish of the race. The team came in fourth and they did not lose a position on pit road. Lindley restarted in sixth because two cars who had pitted earlier had stayed out on the race track for track position. As the race went on, Lindley was able to get around those two cars and was able to maintain fourth position and he kept pressure on Woody Howard who was running third. A couple of times, Lindley was able to get underneath Howard, but a caution flag would come out before Lindley would be able to make the pass. Lindley was able to bring the Hooters Air Ford to a fourth place finish and would also finish second to Benny Gordon in the Northern Division Championship.

Shotime motorsports and Mardy Lindley put up some astounding numbers during the regular season. There were 12 races run in the Northern Division and Lindley finished in the top ten in all of them with nine of them being top five finishes. There were 2,967 laps run in those twelve races and Lindley completed all 2,967 laps. This was accomplished because of excellent preparation and maintenance of the race car at the shop during the weeks before the race, the race teams preparation at the race track during the races, great reliability from our Automotive Specialist Engines, Lindley's great driving ability to stay out of trouble during the races, and a little racing luck on our side. shotime motorsports and Mardy Lindley are getting ready for the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Championship Season. They will start tied for third place and are looking forward to bringing home a championship. We would like to thank all our sponsors, crew members and fans for their support!!
